“Now that my life is changing on the inside, the outside is beginning to follow.  Just over the past week I’ve released 3 Kilograms (6.5 Pounds) and 13 Centimetres (5 Inches) off my body measurements.  I am feeling great and I am enough now as I am, as the improvements continue, I will begin to feel more than enough.”

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…Congratulations! Leah!

Leah,

I am so proud of you my dear. Thank you for digging and allowing all this new growth to just wash over you (like being in the ocean) and sink in down deep inside of you where you can process, learn, love and let go.

I so appreciate your commitment to spreading the word about the course. My goal is to attract those who are called to this work without putting any pressure on them. I had quite a few women who were ready to sign up and they all seem to be changing their minds. Not everyone is ready and able to do this work…and I understand. They too have arrived where they need to be in the moment…and when and if they are ready they will join us in this transformation and change and growth. Just think of this circle of love we are forming around the planet, how cool is that?

I got the kindest email from Florrie today which I will send out to my Pinky’s and I wanted to thank Wendy for calling me today to see how she could support me and this crusade to attract more Pinky’s…very cool and Wendy and were loving you if your ears were ringing.

Leah, there is so much I want to say and share every day. Sometimes the ideas just don’t quit….so when I sit down I write what rolls out.

I wanted to share this quote from the Dalai Lama,

“The basic sources of happiness are a good heart, compassion, and love. If we have these mental attitudes, even if we are surrounded by hostility, we feel little disturbances. On the other hand, if we lack compassion and our mental state if filled with anger or hatred, we will never have peace or feel peace.”

I am a lover of Dalai Lama and have seen him live…what a treat that was.

Leah, the other thing that keeps me going everyday is just looking at my pages and pages of sourced statistics just like these below that I have sitting on my desk…This is a sampler and not fun to read and yet  I want people to see the facts. I will continue to send more because I have lots of INTERNATIONAL STATS AS WELL.  There are a lot…I have work to do! and it is Pinky’s like you that will turn these statistics around by leading by example.

Body Image Statistics (Domestic)

The diet industry makes between $40 and $100 billion every year selling temporary weight loss products—more than the combined federal budget for education, welfare, and health. (1)

People who diet are five times more likely to develop an eating disorder; those who diet often are 18 times more likely. (16)

95 – 98% of dieters regain the weight that they lose back within 5 years. (1)

35% of women in the United States are obese, as well as 33% of men. (7)

An average bulimic person binges about 11 times per week. (16)

Two-thirds of adults in the U.S. are overweight. (10)

300,000 people die of obesity each year. (9)

The total cost of obesity in the United States is $117 billion. (11)

Sending you light and love and you have arrived  Leah…drink this in…”an opportunity does not arrive because it is already here….we just may not be able to see it yet.”

The universe is abundant.

I love you, XO

Laura

Leah,

Thank you for being on the call today honey, your share touched me deeply, your Dad really did a great job.

Can you feel that?

Leah, I hope you got as much value from the call today as I got from knowing you were out there. I felt your energy was low and it is soooo understandable for the time of night it was for you.

I have many things to do before I get to bed tonight including posting the call on the forum so I will use this space tonight to share a piece from a Pinky follower who got value from my special report and chose to write this beautiful piece on the value she received.

For all of you who have never read my free report or have not read it in a long time…please just move your cursor above to the top of this page and sign up for my free report…and then tell me what you think…better yet, feel free to do what darling Renée Barnow did and write a piece on it.

Here is what Renée had to share.

Hearing My Body Speak While Reading “Your Body’s Secret Language”

by Renée Barnow

“Life itself is the proper binge.” Julia Child

With a fully whetted appetite of curiosity I read Laura Fenamore’s “Your Body’s Secret Language: How to Make it Say ‘Yes’ to Weight Loss Forever.” (Available at www.onepinky.com) My body said, “Yes” to almost every word, and I ingested each morsel feasting on Laura’s message. The absolutely scrumptious and delicious treat left me wanting second and third helpings.

Here is how I savored hearing my body as I read the six traps Laura identifies.

Trap 1: My Weight Defines Who I Am—I am perfect exactly as I am in the moment, although according to BMI and medical guidelines 20 pounds less is desirable.

Trap 2: How We See Ourselves the Mirror Test—“Looking good,” and “I love you Renée,” have passed my lips when I look in the mirror.

Trap 3: Our Relationship to Food—I am an avid foodie and love traveling the world exploring fine dining. Yet, for a boost when I’m blue or to celebrate an accomplishment I get a personal body service (e.g., manicure, massage) instead of treating myself with food.

Trap 4: Our Story about Our Body—I have written a new story and on occasion revised it.

Trap 5: “I Suck”—Negative Self Talk—Yuck. Negative self talk is like eating rotten food. I reframe my inner dialogue.

Trap 6: Living in the World of “Not Enough”—Part of my daily meditation is thanking the universe for all that I am and all that I have. My strength is helping people create and sustain a sense of being OK and having enough to master thriving in challenging times.

I’m making a reservation to eat at Laura’s table.

P.S.  Returned from Julie & Julia movie in which Julia and her sister did a Pinky Promise.

I know you cannot wait to see Julie and Julia and you will…pretty cool piece she wrote, ey?

Leah, sending you peace and love and gratitude as we venture into our last day of September tomorrow here in America. Month 1 is almost down. Feel different? I do. In a great way.

I am excited for you and for me. XO

Love you Leah,

Laura

Day 28 – Hey Leah, I Must Practice What I Preach

Hello Leah,

It is Monday here in the USA. Toni Marie and I were the only two who were present for the Immersion call. She will be emailing something out about whether we want to go on or not. I am game for leading on Monday’s and only if 3 or more are interested. It is all good. We had August which was fantastic and got us to where we are today. Here and Now.

It was lovely to connect with Toni Marie and I missed you other Fine Nines. Not sure where others were and Toni and I hope that it was a case of forgetfulness and not being sick.

Speaking of sick, I am sick now and I rarely get sick.

I actually have noticed how my energy is more and more depleted as the day is going on. So I will do some writing and then soup and off to bed.

India often sends me beautiful poetry and videos and last week she sent this video with a powerful message that I will allow to be the energy of this blog post.

My intentions this morning when I had more energy was to write all these powerful things that came up in my mind after the workshop and I just do not have it in me to do that now. I have a fever.

It is my goal to discuss some of those things on the OnePinky.com call tomorrow….My hope is to get some sleep this evening. Last night was tough as my nose was stuffed and I trust tonight will be different for me.

I hope you and Leigh are feeling better. Enjoy the film below, and until tomorrow, I acknowledge you for practicing Loving, Learning and Letting Go!

You go gal….

dance like no one is watching
sing like no one is listening
love like you’ve never been hurt
and live life every day as if it were your last”

I Love You, XO
