Gentle Reminder

The Universe gave me a gentle reminder today.

I did everything that I personally could to get out of work on time today.  As a nurse, it depends day to day and patient to patient when my work day ends.  But today, I had plans after work and I was set on getting out on time no matter what it took.  I did all my doctors orders, completed all my nursing notes, all my patient treatments and even missed my 30-minute lunch break!  I was ready to go and then… I found out the nurse who was taking my place was going to be late!  I honestly laughed.  Months ago I would have been super upset, but today I laughed.  I laughed because I spent all day focused on what I could do to get out of there on time, and then the Universe stepped in with something that I didn’t even think about, something that I had absolutely no control over.

Thank you Universe for reminding me that at the end of the day, you call the shots!

May there be peace within.

Love,

Gina

I’ve been reminded in so many ways lately of the universe and that it’s flow isn’t always what I’ve wanted in that moment, yet the lessons I have learnt have been much needed for my progress forwards.

    Thank you Gina for sharing.
